Calculation History
Online Scientific Calculator
Our Scientific Calculator provides all the mathematical functions you'd find on a physical scientific calculator, accessible directly in your browser without any download or installation. It supports basic arithmetic, trigonometric functions (sin, cos, tan), logarithms (log₁₀ and natural log), powers and roots, factorial calculations, and much more. The calculation history feature lets you review and reuse previous results.
Degree vs Radian Mode
The DEG/RAD toggle switches between degrees and radians for trigonometric calculations. In degree mode, sin(90) = 1 because 90° is a right angle. In radian mode, sin(π/2) = 1 because π/2 radians equals 90°. Always check which mode is active before performing trigonometric calculations, as using the wrong mode is a common source of errors in scientific and engineering calculations.
Order of Operations
Our calculator respects standard mathematical order of operations (PEMDAS/BODMAS): Parentheses first, then Exponents, then Multiplication and Division, then Addition and Subtraction. Use parentheses liberally to ensure complex expressions are evaluated exactly as intended. The expression display at the top of the calculator shows the full expression being built so you can verify it before calculating.
